What You'll Do
In this role, you'll work as part of the Runtime Platforms team within our TechOps organization, with a mission to foster rapid iteration and experimentation at Flatiron by providing engineering teams with user-centric, trustworthy platforms that enable teams to safely and reliably operate their software with minimal overhead.
As a member of the Runtime Platforms team, you'll be helping to scale and streamline how services are run at Flatiron, by building first-class shared platforms and tools for our engineers. You'll help our application teams make the most of technologies like Kubernetes and AWS Lambda, enable modern continuous delivery approaches, and make server infrastructure fade into the background. You'll also simplify the management of infrastructure dependencies by creating infrastructure-as-code modules to make and keep our databases, storage, and other shared resources resilient, observable, and secure by default.
You will accomplish this by ensuring that our technical infrastructure and practices maintain the highest levels of reliability, performance, and agility. In addition, you'll also:

You're an engineer with 3+ years of experience working in an SRE, DevOps, software engineering, or systems engineering role. You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day.
