This role involves end-to-end accountability for driving profitable and sustainable growth, aligning regional market strategies with SKF's value proposition, and leading new product development within SKF's formal development project process. The Director will serve as a key connector for the Full Value Chain to Original Equipment (OE) and Aftermarket (AM), ensuring seamless integration and strategy alignment. Reporting to the VP of Industrial OE Strategic Sales Americas, this role is crucial for segment and footprint alignment with SKF Global Industry and Product leads in Group Commercial Excellence Bearings.Responsibilities:• Implement and execute the Handling Industry strategy for the Americas, positioning SKF as a leader in the OEM Handling Industry.• Drive growth and profitability in the Handling Industry, influencing the company's financial success.• Align the Regional Market and SKF Value Proposition for the Handling Industry, ensuring offerings meet customer needs and market trends.• Identify and communicate Industry trends and market needs within the Handling segment, establishing SKF as a proactive and informed leader.• Develop and implement effective pricing strategies for OE and AM in the Handling Industry, balancing competitiveness with profitability.• Develop a comprehensive Handling Industry strategy for the Americas, ensuring strategic alignment with global objectives.• Drive segment growth and profit, with measurable performance metrics.• Foster a strong connection with the Global Commercial Excellence Bearings for cohesive strategy implementation.• Map key opportunities across the Americas for profitable growth in the Handling Industry.• Create and maintain a playbook aligning the Regional Market and SKF Value Proposition specific to Handling.• Act as a connector for FVC to OE and AM, ensuring seamless integration and strategy alignment for the Handling segment.• Collaborate with Product Line Managers and factories to position the Handling footprint for market share growth and maximized revenue and profit.• Communicate Industry trends and market needs, providing insightful guidance to the organization for the Handling Industry.Job Requirements:• Bachelor degree is required (Business Administration, Engineering or Equivalent).• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Industrial Sales, Manufacturing or Engineering Industry.• Minimum of 5 years proven experience developing business in an industrial or manufacturing market.• Knowledge and Expertise: Deep understanding of the Handling market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.• Leadership and Communication Skills: Lead and motivate a team focused on the Handling segment, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.• Customer-Centric and Results-Oriented Mindset: Deliver value-added solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations in the Handling Industry.• Strategic Planning and Execution: Set clear strategies for the Handling segment and translate them into actionable plans.• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Analyze complex data and solve problems efficiently to drive Handling segment performance.• Financial Acumen: Manage budgets to ensure Handling segment profitability and cost-effectiveness.• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with teams to achieve goals and drive success in the Handling Industry.• Technical Expertise: Good understanding of technical aspects related to the Handling segment, including product knowledge and manufacturing processes.What You'll Love About SKF:Rest and Relaxation.Enjoy a generous PTO policy and 13 paid holidays.Work/Life Integration.SKF supports work/life integration, home, family, community, personal well-being and health.
