Skin Analytics is an award-winning digital health company that has launched the world’s first AI-supported Skin Cancer pathway for a faster skin cancer diagnosis. Our AI as a Medical Device (AIaMD) is deployed in 18 NHS organisations, and growing. The Role: Cloud DevOps Engineer

Your Impact

You'll be a key architect in our mission to transform healthcare technology, designing and implementing cloud infrastructure that powers potentially life-changing medical diagnostics.

What You'll Do

Cloud & Infrastructure Magic

  • Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS that are scalable, resilient, and secure
  • Transform infrastructure management through elegant Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Craft automated deployment pipelines that make our technology faster, more reliable, and more efficient

Software Engineering Excellence

  • Develop high-performance applications using JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Create clean, maintainable code that drives our platform's performance and scalability
  • Collaborate across teams to design and optimise back-end services and APIs

DevOps Innovation

  • Work alongside our Senior DevOps Engineer to revolutionise our deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure strategies
  • Build and refine continuous integration and deployment processes
  • Proactively monitor and optimise application performance, security, and reliability

Essential Experience

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a laser focus on cloud technologies
  • Expertise in:
    • AWS cloud services and architecture
    • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
    • CI/CD pipeline development
    • JavaScript ecosystem (React, Node.js, TypeScript)

Location

We offer a hybrid working model, with some time spent in our Farringdon office, however, we are open to offering remote opportunities. We're open to discussing flexible arrangements that work for you.

Application Process

  • 1st Stage: Screening Call with our Talent & People Lead (30 mins)
  • 2nd Stage: Competency-based interview with Hiring Manager (45 mins)
  • 3rd Stage: Technical Interview (60mins) and meeting with our Director of Technology (20mins)

Skin Analytics manufactures medical devices and complies with ISO standards 13485 and 27001. As part of your employment, you will be assigned Quality Management System (QMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS). We require that our employees agree to complete their assigned training and diligently follow all company quality management and information security processes.​​
