Join us to build out our in-house recruiting function from scratch. We are at the forefront of digitizing the B2B economy, and in this role you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring we assemble a world class team to execute against this mission. We approach recruiting as a product, and “slope” – constantly iterating – is the most important thing. You’ll be able to build and evolve our end-to-end hiring framework and work closely with our founders on a day-to-day basis. We expect a collaborative approach with teams across the organization. We’re looking for a self-starter, who is an expert problem solver, clear and empathetic communicator, quick learner and operator, and has demonstrated success dealing with uncertainty.

Work with seasoned second-time founders and operators
Develop a strong understanding of the Slope product suite and value proposition in order to represent the Slope brand in front of candidates
Manage our talent brand and public presence as an employer
Be the primary point of contact for all candidates from first email to close and help iterate towards a tight-knit, world class candidate experience
Own, build out, and organize our candidate ATS
Train interviewers and build a culture of recruiting excellence
“Be the “glue” between Slope’s teams and candidates, managing the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing to coordinating. Ensure teams are aligned on what they are looking for in each role, and help bring the right candidates for each role”
4+ years of recruiting experience preferably at a fast-growth startup or agency focused on startup recruiting
A love of being in front of and continuously learning from candidates
Have sourced a wide range of roles, both technical and non-technical
Highly organized and able to prioritize shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively. We are growing fast, with new roles/needs being created quickly, with candidates coming from all types of company and personal channels, so your role would be key in keeping us coordinated
Ability to hunt for the best talent, and find them no matter what, whether it means going to Github projects and finding the top contributors, finding second-degree connections to people on LinkedIn, push the team for internal referrals, and convince great people who might not be actively looking for opportunities
Top communication skills - able to professionally interact with candidates
Grit - we’re growing very quickly and as first recruiting hire you’ll have to pound the pavement and do what it takes to get it done.
Entrepreneurial - be scrappy, resourceful, autonomous, low maintenance. We have no processes in place
Excellent communication skills, prioritization and the ability to navigate competing demands
Strong team player and ability to succeed in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, while maintaining high levels of operational rigor, problem solving, business acumen, and positive attitude
