Smarsh is seeking a highly professional and motivated Revenue Recognition Technical Accountant to perform a variety of management and accounting duties. Qualified candidates will have a deep understanding of technical revenue accounting as relates to the software/SaaS space under ASC606. Smarsh is a quickly growing Company requiring team members to juggle multiple roles. This role will include certain revenue accounting functions for standard transactions pending expansion of the team and addition of an additional revenue accountant. This role will oversee completion of the revenue recognition processes in managing month-end close, along with maintaining operational system processes. This person will also provide month-end reporting as well as working on implementing best practices across the team. Additionally, they will assist with special projects assigned by the Manager of Revenue Recognition. This is a great opportunity to work closely with a Revenue Recognition Manager and Director of Accounting for a career minded individual who wants to work for a successful, fast-growing software company.
