Product Designer

The Product Designer role is a crucial member of our Technology team. You are responsible for creating beautiful, practical designs and UI/UX and conducting competitive UI/UX research. You will draw directly from data and research to inform design concepts and decision-making. You will work closely with the Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to deliver designs that delight and engage our customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ideate, design, and implement innovative solutions that meet user needs and business goals.

• Design end-to-end flows and experiences that are simple and elegant and effectively communicate design concepts and solutions

• Continually optimize our platform design based on data and research.

• Participate in user research and usability testing to gain insights and validate design decisions.

• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency across the product.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform design decisions and push the boundaries of what's possible.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related field.

• Experience building and shipping applications or software products.

• Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, process, and impact on projects.

• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking, and design systems

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams.

• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements.

• Passion for creating delightful and intuitive user experiences that solve real user problems.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Proficiency in Figma and other design tools for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.

• Experience with e-commerce and SAAS is a plus.

• Familiarity with HTML/JS is a plus.
