Care to join us?The Ann Arbor office of SmithGroup is looking for a Data Coordinator (Temporary) to join our team. SmithGroup has been named one of Southeast Michigan's Top Workplaces by the Detroit Free Press for 10 consecutive years!The Data Coordinator maintains database systems and records across a range of applications and data sources for our firm. In this job, your duties are to perform data entry, organize information, collect missing records, and analyze data usage by other members of the organization. The Data Coordinator is responsible for collecting and inputting data from various internal systems including SharePoint, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Data Asset Management (DAM) systems. This is a remote position.Working with us, you will:• Update data records, resolve conflicts, generate reports, and monitor data changes regularly.• Generate reports for stakeholders on a regular basis. Work with key Operational Groups to ensure all data is collected and is verifiable.• Research, evaluate, and recommend changes to systems and processes related to the collection, reporting, and dissemination of information.• Provide quality assurance by analyzing and verifying data entered into the firm’s database systems.• Conduct regular audits of internal systems to ensure the integrity of the data. Work with cross-functional teams to resolve data conflicts.• Research and process data change requests and follow up with users, as necessary.• Collect data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy.• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.An ideal candidate has:• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.• Strong knowledge of SharePoint• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI• Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.• Strong customer service orientation combined with the ability to work well with others.• Quick, analytical thinker.• Previous experience within the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry is desired.Hiring note: This is a temporary position lasting approximately 9 months.SmithGroup's competitive compensation and benefit package is designed to meet the needs of a diverse staff.
