University Title: Snack Bar Attendant

6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday (hours could vary depending on Union hours)
A job offer for this position is contingent on passing a physical examination to determine if the candidate possesses the physical capabilities necessary to perform the essential functions.
Completion of eighth grade or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired is necessary.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
Six months experience in the preparation and service of food in an institutional or commercial food service facility.
Knowledge of food preparation, including knife skills, and equipment, service and sanitation methods.
Ability to handle and lift heavy kitchen utensils and supplies (e.g. 40 pounds)
Good physical health sufficient to perform job responsibilities.
ServSafe® certification desirable upon hire, or is able to be acquired within approximately six months of hire.
Customer service and supervisory experience with a desire to provide high-quality customer service is strongly preferred.
