Bring your passion for delighting customers and deep experience building cutting edge web apps and help us build the future of the Data Cloud.AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:• Be a tech lead of the marketplace FE team driving the technical direction, and influencing the product roadmap.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer pain points, requirements, dependencies, and priorities.• Lead and mentor a team of engineers through the design, execution, and delivery of multiple features into production.• Be quality gatekeeper, ensuring designs are well conceived, technically sound with few gaps, and solutions are implemented following best practices that meet Snowflake's high quality standards.• Own the operational health of an area, helping in defining the team’s objectives and success metrics, and ensure that appropriate instrumentation and alerts are in place.• Build for scale and high performance.OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL HAVE:• Strong product mindset and will prioritize user needs and experience, while also considering the marketability and profitability of the product.• Demonstrated technical leadership experience, such as being an architect or tech lead for high impact customer facing projects.• Significant software development experience, including 10+ years of experience in web UI application development.• Experience in leading engineering teams and proven to make an impact on the team and company level.• Willingness to work as one of UI leaders responsible for strategic alignment across the entire team and contribute to projects outside your primary area of expertise.• Distributed system development experience is a big plus.• Deep understanding of modern web applications design architecture, good API design, design systems, patterns, performance and scale.• Experience in technologies such as Javascript, TypeScript, React, Node, Figma, Python, Go, Kubernetes, and Docker.• Knowledge of popular testing frameworks such as React Testing Library, Puppeteer, Cypress, Playwright.The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:• The estimated base salary range for this role is $214,000 - $327,700.• Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
