Our Opportunity

Are you looking for an internship with the legal department of a growing technology company in the cyber security industry? Snyk is looking for smart, enthusiastic law school interns that are interested in working with us during the summer as part of our Legal Internship Program. The 10-12 week internship with Snyk offers cutting edge projects, as well as a wide variety of learning in the legal and business acumen - and are packed full of fun! The internship can be either paid or for law school credit, as mutually agreed by the intern and the company. Preference will be given to candidates in the Boston area who can work on a hybrid basis, and come into Snyk’s downtown Boston office three days a week (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday).

You’ll Spend Your Time:

Reviewing, drafting, and working on special projects for the legal department related to:

• Contracts Analysis, Review, and Drafting
• Conducting legal research and preparing legal memos and correspondence
• Litigation
• Regulatory Matters
• Intellectual Property
• Marketing and Product
• Compliance
• Corporate Governance Projects
• Mergers and Acquisitions
• Employment Law

What You’ll Need:

• Current law students with strong writing, communications, reasoning and analytical skills
• Able to work 30+ hours per week 
• Legally authorized to work in the United States. Due to the limited duration of this program, sponsorship for employment visa status is not available for this position. 
• Must be great team player that works well in collaborative situations
• Self-starter, ability to envision solutions and take initiative to see the solution to the end despite challenges.
• Detail oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, and self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills and a desire to learn something new.
• Sense of humor required (and an interest in technology)! 
• Preference (but not required) for students who have taken coursework in commercial transactions, contracts, and intellectual property.
