Social Media Specialist, Media Solutions (Freelance)

POLITICO POLITICO Europe is seeking a Social Media Specialist on a Freelance Contract starting in August. The Specialist will support our Media Solutions (Advertising) team, working on building and executing social media campaigns, monitoring performance and supporting members of the team. This contract is for between 5-10h per week, or depending on the necessities of the business.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Build and execute social media campaigns for Media Solutions clients on paid channels: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google Ads
• Respond to ticketing system with post previews, campaign schedules and performance updates
• Ensure all messaging and creative assets are consistent with guidelines
• Measure the success of social media campaigns using existing and new KPIs
• Monitor performance on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
• Keep social media trackers up-to-date with relevant performance stats
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure social campaigns KPIs are met
• Support other team members with post-campaign reports

Qualifications

• Around 3 years of relevant work experience
• Expertise in Social media management tools
• Expertise with Google Ads and Google Analytics platforms
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment – the ability to work with other teams, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines
• Analytical skills – being able to work with data
• Fluent English, written and spoken and any other European language
• Experience working in advertising is a plus
