Position Overview:
This position will initially report to the Controller and be responsible for a diverse range of accounting operations duties, with a primary focus on payroll processing and related tasks. It will contribute to a developing Accounting and Finance team in a growing company.
Primary Responsibilities:
Process US multi-state payroll, maintaining all related records and systems.
Process all payroll tax reporting and ensure accurate and timely filing with appropriate state and Federal authorities.
Support payroll process for global employees in collaboration with HR and outsourced EOR.
Ensure compliance with relevant multi-state payroll tax laws and regulations, collaborating with external tax advisers as necessary.
Manage the end-to-end process of establishing new taxing jurisdictions, collaborating with Finance and HR for seamless implementation.
Support accounting for all payroll transactions and assist with month-end accounting close and reconciliations regarding assigned responsibilities.
Support audit process for US corporate audit.
Support external tax advisor requests for US tax reporting and compliance.
Potential to assist with accounts payable and receivable cycles and other accounting operations responsibilities.
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or in payroll administration.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Strong multitasking abilities to manage various responsibilities concurrently.
Experience with multi-state payrolls and tax filing processes.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
Thorough knowledge of Federal and State wage and tax reporting requirements.
Must be self-motivated, self-managing, and able to work independently.
Must exhibit professionalism and a strong working ethic regarding maintaining sensitive and confidential employee information.
A degree in Accounting or Business is a plus.

Target Market Salary Range: $62,300 - 99,600
Compensation will be determined based on geographic location, skill sets, education, experience, performance, and other organizational needs. The disclosed estimate may not reflect geographic differentials and is subject to adjustment. Total compensation may include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K, and other applicable compensation plans.
