Software Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled software architect to design and oversee the implementation of complex software systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the software system is scalable, maintainable, secure, and meets the requirements of the stakeholders.

• Designing software architecture for large-scale systems
• Defining technical standards and best practices for the development team to follow
• Conducting code reviews to ensure compliance with technical standards and software architecture
• Identifying and mitigating technical risks to ensure the security, reliability, and performance of the software system
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand constraints, and communicate technical decisions
• Evaluating and recommending new technologies that are compatible with the software architecture and meet stakeholder requirements
• Mentoring and coaching junior developers to ensure the growth and development of the team

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and implementing complex software systems
• AWS experience, serverless is a huge plus (Lambdas, API Gateway, etc.)
• Solid development experience in Node.js and JavaScript
• Very comfortable in microservices architectures, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, k8s, EKS, etc.)
• Proven ability to design software architecture that is scalable, maintainable, and secure
• Strong knowledge of best practices and standards for software development
• Expertise in identifying and mitigating technical risks
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to evaluate and recommend new technologies that meet stakeholder requirements
• Proven ability to mentor and coach junior developers
