Software Developer

Job Summary

The Software (.NET) Developer will primarily work on projects related to the Sitecore Content Management System. The purpose of this position is develop solutions to reduce lead time and increase the flow of development project work.

In this position you will be integrating creative designs and user experience (UX) functionality into a Sitecore content management system. You will be working as part of an agile project team to estimate work, develop new solutions, and enhance existing solutions. You will work to become familiar with and collaborate on our development and coding best practices. You will actively participate in code reviews.

Essential Functions

• Design and develop Sitecore functionality and bug fixes (C# .NET)
• Troubleshoot critical production issues (analyze logs, etc)
• Create merge requests and participate in code reviews with peer developers
• Upgrade/maintain existing websites and applications (C# .NET, CSS, JS)
• Work with project team to produce and clarify website and application specifications
• Participate in mob coding sessions
• Improve daily work processes through automation and/or alternative methods
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and techniques in order to utilize in your code and share with team members

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing web applications in C#, ASP.NET MVC, and JavaScript
• 3+ years of experience with modern software design patterns, debugging, and refactoring
• Experience using modern semantic accessible HTML
• Experience with Visual Studio Tooling
• Experience with version control tools, such as Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
