Software Engineer III (Remote)

The Position:
Faction is looking for an innovative, results-oriented and passionate DevOps Engineer. You will
be working in a team of devops/product engineers focused on designing, developing and
implementing products built on Infrastructure-as-Code using industry standard tools and
languages. This role will be key in our mission to create highly available, high performing
products that provide a seamless experience for our multi-cloud clients.

Responsibilities:

Automate product provisioning and associated systems key to delivering our products
Develop infrastructure as code to meet the needs of our platforms and products
Work with operations, software engineering and architecture to build and deliver on

automation and product objectives

Work with senior developers to design serverless applications and create user stories

that accomplish those applications

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to complete projects independently - Self Starter
Terraform - Infrastructure deployment experience
Ansible - Configuration and provisioning experience
Computer Science PHD degree or 3-5yrs development experience or fullstack bootcamp

graduate with 2yr of experience

Python experience

Desired Qualifications:

Linux experience
Experience with containers (Docker)
Experience with development frameworks
Enjoys rapidly mastering new technologies - hopefully you bring a curious mind that

loves to learn new things

You enjoy collaborating with others and treat everyone with respect
