Here at Houlihan Lokey, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality custom software solutions. You will collaborate with a team of other software engineers and stakeholders to deliver software products that meet customer requirements and industry standards. Your expertise will be crucial in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and supporting your applications once released.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new applications, websites, and system enhancements and help to maintain existing applications and systems.
  • Work as an individual as well as within a team structure to deliver complex system designs
  • Recommend enhancements and improvements
  • Design effective system architecture with a focus in usability and scalability
  • Plan and research, follow software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology and best practices
  • Review code and provide feedback on areas that need improvement
  • Design and develop visual and functional specifications for internal applications
  • Develop interactive websites and solutions using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL
  • Angular, Prime Ng, SSIS, and SSRS skills are a plus
  • Support acceptance tests and production tests
  • Produce emergency and permanent fixes
  • Take preventive actions that will improve applications reliability and performance
Required Qualifications:
  • A commitment to producing top-quality, well-designed, and flexible custom applications
  • Strong programming ability, with great attention to detail and design
  • Demonstrated ability to design and assist in the timely delivery of high-quality software
  • Strong written, oral, and visual communication skills
  • A forward thinker with a strong business sense
  • Dedication to a collaborative working style and the ability to work well in small teams
  • Willingness to participate in after-hour and on-call support
  • A desire to learn and use new technologies
  • Service-oriented and hold a high level of integrity
  • Self-motivated with a high level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced/dynamic team environment and possess time management skills to meet schedules.

Preferred Requirements:
  • 5 years in-depth .NET, Web Service, Window Service and REST API programming skills required
  • Thorough understanding and experience working with large relational databases required (SQL experience is preferred.)
  • Experience with the Agile SCRUM methodologies is preferred
  • Prior experience in financial, legal or consulting services
Salary Range
Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:
$90,000.00-$120,000.00
Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
