Material Handler Job Description:

PrideStaff is working with a local business to fill the need of a Material Handler to help ship and move materials for a large food distribution facility. If you have experience as a Material Handler and can drive multiple forklifts, do cycle counts, and have longevity with your previous employers, we want to hear from you. This position is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in the Rocklin, CA area.

Material Handler Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain stock levels and assist with organizing product for shipping
• Operator multiple types of Forklifts and work with a team to accomplish work goals
• Unload trucks and maintain a neat and organized work area
• Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills
• Follow all PPE and Safety guidelines

Material Handler Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to operate multiple types of Forklifts (stand up, sit down, reach lift & more)
• 2+ years experience as a Material Handler preferred
• Computer experience including maintaining inventory systems and shipping software
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time as well as bend, lift, twist and reach as needed

• Must be 18+ years old
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
