What you'll do


DocuSign is looking for a highly motivated Front End Software Engineer to join our Product-Led Growth team under the product development organization. The Front End Software Engineer will execute on all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the e-commerce and product-led growth applications.

You enjoy fast-paced entrepreneurial environments where you can solve difficult problems using current technologies and tools. You collaborate well with other team members when brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions.You will also help the team succeed by thinking about ways to improve processes, suggesting ways to make the team more effective, and mentoring and modeling engineering best practices.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager.


Responsibility

  • Create high quality, user focused experiences with React or Node
  • Help build and design the new Micro Frontend (MFE) infrastructure
  • Be actively involved with building and maintaining our new component library
  • Mentor junior plus level engineers
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for your code
  • Participate in an Agile environment using Scrum software development practices, automated unit testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and version control systems (GIT)
  • Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments
  • Be available to diagnose and resolve production-impacting issues and maintain the code as needed


Job Designation


Hybrid:

Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)



What you bring


Basic


  • BS degree in CS or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience building single-page applications
  • Experience building Micro-frontends
  • Experience building react component library
  • Experience working with CSS
  • Experience working with cross-browser behaviors and quirks
  • Experience with creating accessible web apps

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of user authentication and authorization
  • Expert coding and design skills in React, Node and ExpressJs using TypeScript
  • Proficiency in building REST, GraphQL APIs
  • Passion for learning and working with new technologies
  • Strong understanding of design
  • Experience leading distributed teams including offshore
  • Product development experience building large scale web applications
  • Experience designing and developing highly scalable consumer facing web applications
  • Passionate about creating an inclusive and accessible user experience
  • Experience with internationalization and localization
  • Experience with server-side technologies like Node.js
  • Experience with Jenkins or Azure DevOps


Wage Transparency


Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $130,500 - $208,050 base salary

Illinois: $123,700 - $184,275 base salary

Washington: $123,700 - $184,275 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and

benefits.
