Software Engineer

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
The role is for a Software Engineer within the Enterprise Services Group who can offer support and transformation work on the WNZL Transaction LifeCycle Management (TLM) application & Reporting platforms.
Scope of the role is to understand business requirements by performing Reconciliations, Investigations, and Case management activities in TLM & adhoc reports for productivity management through Reporting platforms. The role will also include stakeholder management, reporting and ensuring that all TLM upgrades and changes are managed end to end with the integrated systems.
  • You’ll be responsible for keeping software and system documentation up to date.
  • You’ll be part of the team managing certificate rollovers and DR testing.
  • Collaborate with Business teams to build a daily support framework and manage all user requests with agreed SLA’s.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all change requests are documented, and signoffs obtained prior to engaging the Vendor for delivery.
  • Advanced user of SQL (Window functions – Group by extensions -Rollup, CUBE and grouping sets).
  • Good understanding of ETL load process, ability to work in SQL server management studio.
  • Data analytics, configuring permissions for report building & viewing.
  • Proficient in SQL coding to design new reports and maintain existing reports.
  • You will work with DBAs to troubleshoot database operations and related issues.

  • 2+ years of experience to business preforming reconciliations, investigations, and case management activities.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data analytics, configuring permissions for report building & viewing.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Project Teams & Business teams for system migration/ upgrades.
  • Proficient in SQL coding to design new reports and maintain existing reports.
  • Solid understanding of the change management process.
  • Knowledge on Agile Management tools like Jira, Confluence, Service Now.
  • Working in Agile environment, supporting Service Owner to prioritise backlog and work on user stories.
