Responsibilities

• Lead a project to overhaul existing manual functional tests with robust automated testing frameworks that can be leveraged by multiple teams to increase the efficiency of testing processes
• Provide leadership and development expertise in the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks to accelerate our ability to deliver reliable software faster
• Work with your team to build or adapt the necessary test infrastructure to track and run all automation coming from the developers and QA engineers.
• Build or adapt existing automated test infrastructure that tracks all automation testing from the engineering team
• Extensive use of QA tools, automation and working closely with manual regression testing team

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience working with automation testing frameworks
• Through understanding of automated testing frameworks in how they operate and are integrated into a CI/CD pipeline
• Experience modifying and setting up automated testing pipelines and/or frameworks
• Experience with a variety of automated test frameworks such as selenium, cucumber, TestComplete and JUnit
• Experience testing a microservices based architecture
• 5+ years working experience in software development and/or testing
• Java (preferred), C#, C++, JavaScript frameworks considered.
• Coaching team members into best practices
• Openness to trying new things and new technologies
• Driven toward continuous improvement in software quality
• Willing to work on projects without defined structure and participate in investigation and implementation of new technologies.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
