The candidate will work in a dynamic R&D environment and be involved in SQC activities for our high-performance 3D Lidar product. They will also support the new product introduction to the volume manufacturing processes to support automotive and non-automotive customers.

Involved in routine SQC activities (interpreting software requirements, writing & conducting software test cases, producing user procedures, etc.).

Proficient in writing scripts to aid testing or data collection or analysis.

Test LiDAR software for software functionality and performance.

Test LiDAR sensors for general functionality and performance.

Follow procedures (written and verbal) to validate sensors by checking the image quality, sensitivity, and accuracy, etc.

Generate, redline, and proof testing various user procedures related to software.

Perform outdoor testing (may include drive tests).

Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to analyze and solve software-related problems that may arise during product testing.

Reproduce and verify customer (bug) reports and support internal & external customer data collection for software-related tasks.
- AS degree minimum or BS degree in a technical field, preferred with software or computer engineering-related training.

Fluent with one of the common programming or scripting languages (e.g. python, java, C#, etc.)

Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Solid knowledge of the SQC process is preferred.

Valid California driver’s license (may be needed for the outdoor drive test).

The pay range for this role is $70,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
