Job Description

Main Requirements:

• Software Testing for Web and/or Mobile Apps
• Knows how to do software test automation or at least possess capability to acquire this skill.

Optional Requirements:

• ISTQB Certification
• Knowledgeable in Scripting Languages
• Web and/or Mobile Development is a major plus
• Software Test Automation
• Agile

Job Descriptions:

• Candidate should be knowledgeable in the software testing methods, levels, types, and processes. He or she would be responsible for the development and execution of software test designs, test plans, test scenarios, test cases and procedures. Candidate with test automation skills are preferred but not required, but at the very least should possess the capability to acquire these skills.
• Candidate will be a part of a group responsible for quality control and assurance. He or she will be initially deployed to a particular project but can be assigned to multiple projects as the need arise. He or she will be interfacing with the Project Team providing reports to both the project lead and the software engineering group. Software Quality Engineers are expected to be the gatekeepers of the project release ensuring and assuring quality.

Communication Skills:

Skilled in interpersonal communication, with an arsenal of listening, negotiation, problem-solving and team-building skills at the ready.

Educational Attainment:

Bachelor's degree preferably in an IT related course

Work Location: Science Hub, Mckinley Taguig

Work Set-up: Hybrid; 2 days wfh & 3 days on site

Work Schedule: Day shift
