Solace is a healthcare advocacy marketplace that connects patients and families to experts who help them understand and take charge of their personal health.
As a Healthcare Advocacy Outreach Specialist, you'll serve as a dynamic representative at various community events to promote Solace and introduce Medicare patients to health advocacy services. This role involves direct outreach in healthcare environments and community centers, helping to integrate Solace Health's services into broader healthcare management practices.
Your primary objective will be to identify and acquire new patients who would benefit from working with an advocate to empower their health journey.
This is a part-time contract role.
What You'll Do:
Represent Solace Health at events, communicating the benefits of our Medicare-covered services.
Liaise with community healthcare leaders for service integration.
Develop relationships with potential partners and advocate for specific community health needs.
Distribute educational materials and engage with audiences to elevate Solace Health’s role.
Continuously learn and network to better serve and represent the community.
Who You Are:
You're an empathic individual with strong knowledge of community health issues.
Able to articulate complex healthcare concepts simply and clearly.
A critical thinker and networker who can identify joint opportunities and growth potential.
Charismatic, emotionally intelligent and adept at relationship building.
Exceptionally passionate about patient-centric healthcare.
Experience:
Educational background in public health, social work, sociology, or medicine. An MSW, MPH, or advanced degree pursuit in these fields is preferable.
Experience in health access, advocacy, community health, or public service.
Experience in the Medicare space or with aging populations is a plus.
