What we want you to own in this position:
• Managing an assigned account, or group of accounts, with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers through the technical service they provide
• Identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers
• Maintaining revenue, price capture and to improve gross profit.
• Performing a wide variety of nonstandard complex tasks using advanced techniques and requiring extensive knowledge of discipline.
• Analyzing requirements for special projects and recommending methods and processes to accomplish.
• Supporting the design/development of new or modified equipment or methods/systems for improved performance through analysis and check-out.
• Evaluating, resolving and calibrating solution after troubleshooting problems.
• Leading and mentoring others and lower level employees, may assign work and schedule work flow.
What you need to be successful in this role:
• Bachelor’s Degree (Chemical Engineering or other technical degree).
• Would consider experience in lieu of a technical degree 7+ years of industry experience (pulp and paper or water treatment preferred)
• At least 5 years of Paper Mill experience working in a paper mill environment
• Proven experience (5 - 7+years) in the pulp and paper market with a strong knowledge of the manufacturing sector
• Strong understanding of the pulp and paper manufacturing processes, equipment, knowledge of industry trends, challenges and regulatory requirements affecting the sector
• Proven strong negotiation skills, presentation skills and ability to communicate value propositions and technical information
