Bilingual Social Worker (Spanish and/or Portuguese Preferred)Position: Bilingual Social Worker (Spanish and/or Portuguese Preferred)Location: Clinton, CT areaEmployment Type: Full-time, contracted position through SoliantJob Description: Soliant is partnering with a school district in the Clinton, CT area to hire a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Social Worker for a full-time role. The ideal candidate will address the psychological and social well-being of students, ranging from elementary to high school, and will primarily work with the multilingual population across the district, providing both in-school and community support.Responsibilities:• Implement primary prevention intervention efforts.• Conduct early screening and interventions targeting multiple risk factors.• Provide intervention involving parents, teachers, and administrators in home, school, and community settings.• Offer counseling services to IEP and general education students.• Provide crisis intervention and manage restraint and seclusion.• Develop IEP goals, objectives, and present levels.• Participate in PPT/504/MTSS/Team meetings.Qualifications:• Master’s Degree in Social Work.• Connecticut Certification in Social Work (071).• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.• Experience working with multilingual populations.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.• Knowledge of and compliance with local, state, and federal mandates related to social work in a school setting.Benefits:• Competitive hourly rate.• Comprehensive benefits package.• W-2 employment status.• Opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives.How to Apply: If you are passionate about supporting students' psychological and social well-being and meet the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply.
