Solid Power is seeking a Materials Engineering Intern to join our team working on next-generation solid-state rechargeable batteries. Ideal candidate is enrolled in materials, chemistry, or engineering studies.

Skills

Material characterization techniques
Synthetic chemistry
Statistical design with relevant software
Li-ion battery materials optimization
Microsoft Office proficiency

Responsibilities

Execute planned experimentation to optimize sulfide solid-state electrolytes
Assist with data acquisition and analysis
Perform housekeeping duties
Handle hazardous materials and equipment safely

Education

Pursuing degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry
Experience in synthetic chemistry is a plus
