Graphic Designer

[solidcore] is seeking a talented and driven Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. We are a fast-paced, innovative company looking for a creative individual who can bring technical graphic design excellence to the table. Located in vibrant Arlington, Virginia and reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, investor-backed organization with a desire to be the leader in the studio fitness space.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Keeper of The Brand: As a crucial member of the team, you will master and uphold [solidcore]’s creative guidelines following our recent brand redesign. Your exceptional technical skills, especially in typography, will ensure brand consistency across all materials.
  • Hands-On Designer: Create visually stunning designs for various channels across print and digital media, both static and motion. High proficiency in typography and motion design is essential.
  • Video Editing: Storyboard and edit short-form video content for social media and paid media campaigns, effectively communicating our unique offerings and experiences.
  • Software Proficiency: Must be fluent in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, and After Effects. You should also be able to translate complex designs into simplified Canva templates for field teams.
  • Brand Consistency: Collaborate closely with the in-house brand team and other cross-functional partners to ensure all internal and customer-facing designs adhere to brand guidelines and standards.
  • Creative Operations: Experience in leading or building a creative function is a plus. As the first designer on our team, you will need to manage your time effectively, prioritize incoming projects, establish briefing systems, and build efficient processes.
  • Proactive Contribution: Take initiative and support various areas of the business that require a design vision, demonstrating a strong appetite for contributing proactively.


Qualifications:
  • Education: BFA with a focus on graphic design preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience on an in-house brand team, with a proven track record of independently building creative systems. A startup or entrepreneurial mindset is highly valued.


Skills:
  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere
  • Fluent in After Effects or other motion design software
  • Excellent typography skills
  • Comfortable translating designs into Canva templates
  • Strong understanding of in-house brand team operations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams


Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary range of $85,000-$100,000 per year based on experience
