About the Opportunity:
Our Solutions Consulting Team is seeking an individual with deep functional experience supporting student success initiatives on a college or university campus. Like many before you that have joined our team, you likely have worked at a college or university for about 7-10 years; have the depth and breadth of knowledge of a student’s lifecycle and are ready to take the next step in your career. The Solutions Consulting Team is just the place for you. As a key contributor to our team, you will serve as a product champion to discover customer needs and demonstrate Ellucian solutions and value. Working with our Sales teams, you will help acquire new customers, expand relationships, and drive revenue growth. You will be instrumental in helping higher education institutions visualize themselves delivering institutional value using our solutions by passionately positioning Ellucian as the solution to drive student success.
Where you will make an impact:

Understand the unique needs of higher education institutions, identify the right solutions, and communicate the value these bring to their institution through remote and onsite discovery and demonstrations.

Participate in strategy and discovery calls that build relationships and acquire a deep knowledge of both current and prospective customer business issues and processes by asking strategic questions to form an understanding of their pain points, redundancies, process gaps, and perceived value.

Build credibility with staff, administration, and key decision-makers as a Student Success subject matter and Ellucian solutions expert.

Deliver virtual and on-site solution demonstrations and presentations that map to customer needs and aligns to the team's sales strategy and approach.

Represent Ellucian at industry and user group meetings, and conferences.
What you will bring:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in higher education administration or related pre-sales experience in higher education – preferably in the Student Success arena – Enrollment Management (Admissions/FA), Advising, or Student Affairs.

Expertise and hands-on experience with Ellucian solutions is preferred.

Progressive work experience with understanding of current industry trends and issues in higher education.

Passion for learning new solutions in a constantly evolving SaaS software world

Able to articulate and logically communicate concepts using strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Able to meet deadlines, follow up on commitments, and act with urgency as needed.
