Corporate Development, Alliances and Strategic Communications Manager  

Key responsibilities:
Corporate Development and Strategic Alliances
•    Monitor and analyze global market trends and the competitive landscape in the cybersecurity industry and adjacent segments, including SonicWall’s strategic competitiveness in each segment
•    Leverage these trends to work cross-functionally to develop a technology partnership & alliances plan to contribute to SonicWall’s global growth strategy
•    Develop a pipeline of potential partnerships, alliances and acquisition targets in line with the company’s strategy, including inorganic growth, SOC automation and marketplace expansion
•    Develop and track key performance indicators for each partnership, and provide regular updates and measurable action plans to leadership
•    Evangelize the value and importance of inorganic growth within the company to help foster a culture of collaboration with third parties
•    Develop initiatives to drive joint opportunities with strategic partners
 
Strategic Communications and Analyst Relations
•    Gather and distill key messaging points for all aspects of the business
•    Help craft written and graphical content for corporate presentations
•    Prepare written and graphical content for strategic (M&A, partnership, business development, technology alliances, analyst relations, etc.) presentations
•    Develop long-term analyst relations plans to help drive an ROI from analyst investment perspective
•    Develop incident response and crisis communications plans, policies, messaging and content
•    Work with Marketing and outside vendors to distill key business messages into multiple media formats (video, web assets, etc.)
•    Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop and execute effective marketing strategies for alliance partnerships

Key skills:
•    Strategic thinker who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves
•    Excellent written and verbal communication
•    Background with graphical design for PowerPoint and other presentations a plus
•    Basic understanding of general business operations in a tech organization (finance, engineering, product management, sales, marketing, etc.)
•    Cyber security industry experience
•    Experience working with technology alliance partners
•    SMB and MSP/MSSP experience a plus
•    Analyst relations experience a plus
•    Attention to detail
•    Able to multi-task
•    Able to handle confidential/sensitive information
•    Experience working with executives
•    Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Compensation varies based on location and work being performed. The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $142,000 – $185,000 for annual base salary. Employees may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses and commissions. The successful candidate’s actual pay will also be based on qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
