The position

By joining our team in Renewables you will have the opportunity to:
  • Establish Performance Management of the SBMT Contract(s) to include all aspects of the contract e.g. cost, schedule, safety, quality, information management, stakeholder engagement support. Etc.
  • Be the Primary Point of Contact in Equinor for the contractor(s) with responsibility for contract management for on time delivery, commercial prudence and robust relationship building.
  • Establish and lead a contract follow-up team as required in alignment with the Project manager which shall include Safety/Sustainability, Construction Lead, Contracts/Procurement, Project Controls etc.
  • Interface with engineering, operations, permitting and other local infrastructure responsible groups for coordinated planning and to support an integrated schedule at SBMT
  • Manage and secure engineering support (internal and external) to ensure site constructability issues are proactively addressed and incorporated into the design and execution strategy

  • 10+ years, of related experience in Project Management, Construction and Commercial/contract management. Relevant engineering discipline experience in large waterfront/port or power/civil infrastructure or offshore wind industry port projects. Experience from construction activities in NY will be an advantage.
  • 3-5 years in a leadership or coordination capacity required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required.
  • Experience in managing large scale high value contracts
  • Thorough knowledge of local construction practices, systems, standards and regulatory framework, including labor relevant specifics preferred.
  • Ability to lead and motivate multidiscipline teams towards common project goals. Ensure all relevant aspects impacting construction are considered and planned for an enthusiastic, curious and “can do” attitude.
  • Strong facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly effective communicator with clear and concise writing and presentation skills.
  • Salary range $197,758 to $296,638
