Build Reliability Engineer (Starship)

SpaceX is actively developing technologies to enable human life on Mars and is looking for a Build Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability of flight components and production assemblies for the Starship program.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Application of process controls in manufacturing environment
Knowledge of quality tools like Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis

Responsibilities

Partner with design engineering and manufacturing teams to create quality plans for hardware
Collaborate with production to introduce controls and automation into manufacturing processes
Investigate and mitigate failures in production, test, and flight
Develop and implement Lean test and inspection processes
Perform quality reviews and drive improvements in designs and processes

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, materials, manufacturing, chemical, electrical, or engineering physics)
