Data Scientist (Starlink)

SpaceX is actively seeking a Data Scientist to join the Starlink Growth Team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to optimize the user experience and maximize the utility of the Starlink network.

Skills

Professional experience building solutions with Python and SQL
Professional experience with statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms
Experience in analytics, data science, or machine learning
Excellent data visualization skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Combine statistical analysis, software, and telemetry to uncover trends in the Starlink Network
Develop and implement monitoring systems to detect trends and regressions
Work closely with teams to maximize user experience success
Own a part of the user experience in the Starlink Network

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, statistics, or a STEM discipline
