Embedded Software Engineer, Consumer Hardware (Starlink) - job 1 of 2

SpaceX is actively developing technologies to enable human life on Mars. They are looking for a talented Embedded Software Engineer to help maximize Starlink's potential.

Skills

Development experience in C, C++, Golang, Python or Rust
Fundamental knowledge of networking protocols, electronics, math, physics
Strong skills in debugging, performance optimization, and testing

Responsibilities

Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant consumer devices for millions of users
Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews
Develop prototypes and key design concepts
Write quality Linux based software for common processors
Invent new tools for software deployment and analysis

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a STEM discipline or equivalent professional experience
