Software Engineer, Flight Software (Starlink)

SpaceX is actively developing technologies to enable human life on Mars. Seeking motivated engineers to design and develop software for controlling flight and ground systems for Starlink.

Skills

Strong software design and development skills
Experience in fault-tolerant and distributed systems design
Cross-context test design skills
Thorough knowledge of computer architecture and networks
Debugging and performance optimization skills
Linux programming familiarity

Responsibilities

Develop highly reliable autonomous software systems
Design software for vehicles in space and ground systems
Build prototypes and analyze system metrics
Own all aspects of software development
Provide strong technical leadership

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline
2+ years of experience in software development
