Sr. Mechanisms Engineer (Starship)

SpaceX is actively developing technologies to enable human life on Mars. The Sr. Mechanisms Engineer will design, analyze, and validate mechanical systems and actuators for Starship and Super Heavy vehicles.

Skills

Experience building hardware or contributing to real-world products
Experience with high-end CAD software design packages
Designing and validating large metallic structures and mechanisms
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Drive design and development of mechanical systems across the vehicles
Manage on-site integration teams and implement integration feedback into the design
Diagnose and operate vehicle mechanisms during ground testing and flight

Education

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
