Position Summary:

goTRG is looking for a result-driven, team and detail-orientated, organized Accounts Payable Specialist. The AP Specialist will help provide financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts under his or her control.

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Operate computers programmed with accounting software and Excel to record, store, and analyze information
• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
• Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records
• Verify the bills and supporting documentation
• File and post bills
• Prepare AP report
• Payment posting and filings: Wires/ACHs/CC payments, Fund Transfers
• Process incoming check deposits and postings
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Process credit card reconciliations
• Process teammate’s expenses

Requirements:

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration Preferred
• 1-3 years accounts payables and general accounting experience
• Experience with use of QuickBooks is a plus
• Self-motivated in achieving goals and completing routine tasks
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills when faced with new challenges
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
