Job Description
As a Sales Assistant at our dynamic automotive service center, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will encompass serving as the liaison between our skilled technicians and valued customers, ensuring their needs are met while maximizing sales opportunities. This role requires a balance of exceptional communication skills, product knowledge, and sales acumen to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. Greet and welcome customers warmly, actively listen to their concerns, and provide relevant information on available services, pricing, and estimated timelines.
  • Service Consultation: Consult with customers to understand their vehicle's issues and accurately record their wants and/or needs while ensuring alignment with customer preferences and budget constraints.
  • Sales Assistance: Assist customers in making informed decisions by presenting product and service options, explaining service packages, and upselling additional services or products that align with their vehicle wants and/or needs.
  • Scheduling and Follow-ups: Coordinate service appointments and manage the service schedule efficiently. Conduct follow-up calls or messages to ensure customer satisfaction, address any post-service inquiries, and offer any required assistance.
  • Data Entry and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer information, service histories, and transactions in our database. Keep detailed notes of customer interactions and service-related information.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the service technicians, parts team, and other staff members to foster a cooperative and supportive work environment.
  • Upkeep of Service Area: Keep the service area clean, organized, and customer-friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, and/or automotive-related fields is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with detail oriented services.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused approach with a genuine desire to assist and exceed customer expectations.
  • Proficient computer skills, including data entry, email, and familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • US work authorization is mandatory.
