Objectives of this Role:

• Support the diverse R&D Applied Power Division staff through financial tracking and contract management support.
• Coordinate with A&G departments across SwRI such as contracts, subcontracts, billing, purchasing, HR, etc. for tasks that need assistance or problems that require collaboration across the institute.
• Support development of schedule and cost estimates for cost proposals.
• Prepare and track forms required for proposal preparation.
• Perform quality control review of cost proposals to ensure they comply with organizational requirements.
• Occasionally may need to support the Government property tracking system and ensure compliance with internal business policies and contract requirements.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Serve as secondary point of contact for all financial tracking for technical division.
• Support project managers with financial status reporting across the technical division.

Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or related
• 3-5 years: project management and related experience
• Must be able to take initiative and follow through on assignments with limited supervision
• A valid/clear driver's license is required
