Spectra Logic is seeking an experienced product marketing manager to drive product marketing efforts and collaborate in executing the go-to-market strategy for our data storage and data management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing product marketing strategies that position products effectively in the market, enhance brand awareness, create and accelerate opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Develop and refine product positioning and messaging frameworks that resonate with target audiences across various channels.
- Create and communicate compelling stories that drive engagement and preference with customers, prospects, partners and industry peers.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to stay abreast of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive products.
- Drive the planning and execution of product launches, coordinating with product management, digital marketing, sales, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage sales enablement tools, including presentations, case studies, white papers, and product demos.
- Drive the creation of high-quality marketing content, including blog posts, webinars, videos, and customer success stories.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing
- Proven experience in B2B technology marketing within the data storage industry. Tape experience preferred.
- Track record of successfully launching and driving the adoption of complex technology products.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market research and customer insights into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or computer-science related field; MBA preferred.
COMPENSATION:
Base salary range: $155,000 - $175,000 annually. While this salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, a candidate’s actual salary will be competitive based on a variety of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience and location. In addition, this position is eligible to receive incentive compensation based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved. Stock options may also be granted.
