Software Development Intern - Summer Position

In this role, you will:

As part of SPLICE's development team as a Software Developer Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with both Python (Django) and Javascript (Vue.js) in a professional environment. You will assist the team in building and maintaining SPLICE's web applications, working with APIs, databases, and cloud services. During this internship you will have the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way, working on and completing highly requested/needed features and updates.

The ideal person will have some experience in:

• Programming Languages – Python, JavaScript (Vue), HTML5, CSS
• Web Development Frameworks – Django
• Databases – PostgreSQL, MySQL
• DevOps & Cloud Technologies – Docker
• Version Control & Code Repositories – Git, BitBucket
• Agile Software Development & Collaboration

Please note that preference will be given to those who can continue full-time or part-time after the internship is complete.
