Software Engineer II - Bilingual (Mandarin/English)

This position is 100% remote.
  • In order to qualify for remote work, candidates need to reside or be willing to move to Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wyoming


How you will achieve success:
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications on AWS infrastructure. 
  • Take charge of integrating solutions for clients by directly engaging with customers to understand their needs and working closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless implementation. 
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to refine requirements and translate them into high-quality software solutions. 
  • Develop and optimize APIs and server-side logic for maximum performance. 
  • Apply data science techniques to analyze large datasets, extract insights, and inform application features. 
  • Continuously enhance code quality and performance, and develop comprehensive test automation by employing diverse testing methods and best practices. 
  • Proactively research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to propel our innovative efforts. 
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and collective problem-solving. 


What experiences will help you in this role:
  • Proficiency in both Mandarin and English isrequired for this position. 
  • Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of experience in object-oriented programming, with skills in languages such as .NET, Java, React, or similar. 
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. 
  • Strong communication skills and experience in an Agile development environment.


$92,000 - $146,000 a year
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,000/year to $146,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including geographic market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Spreetail is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
