EAP Therapist

Spring Health is seeking a dedicated EAP Therapist to support Hearst Newspapers, providing comprehensive mental health solutions through on-site and virtual support.

Skills

Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience with at least 1 year of post-licensed experience
Training and experience in delivering management consultation, critical incident response, and training presentations
Comfortable with technology and telehealth competent
Experience in evidence-based modalities of care and working with individuals who have experienced trauma
Unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in CA and willingness to become licensed in TX
High-quality documentation skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

Provide on-site and virtual support to managers, people teams, and members
Deliver solution-focused mental health counseling, consultation, and referrals
Assess for risk, manage member and organizational crises, and provide critical incident response services
Conduct trainings, facilitate Spring Health benefit promotion events, and maintain an expert-level understanding of the customer benefit ecosystem
Complete required internal training, attend team meetings, and follow Spring Health policies and standards
