Nature Communications is the leading multidisciplinary Open Access journal, publishing high-quality scientific research. To help us to build on the success of this journal, we’re seeking an editor with a critical eye, a deep understanding of their subject and interests beyond, and who can think on their feet. Candidates with a background in microbiology are suitable for this role; those with a background in host-pathogen interactions, immune responses to pathogen infections, and/or clinical infectious diseases are particularly encouraged to apply.
