The Growth team at Squarespace is responsible for the customer’s journey from the moment they land on Squarespace.com to the moment they subscribe to our services. We also focus on improving product discovery: where we introduce existing customers to learn and engage with other parts of our platform that are relevant for growing their business. This group is comprised of 4 cross-functional product engineering teams each with dedicated product managers, designers, content strategists, analysts, and engineers.
Squarespace is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Conversion teams. This includes our Template Store, where we help match customers to the right template for their industry and goals (e.g. selling a product, booking an appointment), and the newly-launched Squarespace Blueprint a guided website design system providing professionally-curated layout and styling options to help customers build a unique online presence from the ground up. As the engineering manager you’d have the opportunity to lead teams on both of these surfaces in an experiment-driven way, that is core to helping entrepreneurs getting started on building their business and brand online.
This is a hybrid role working from our NYC office 3 days per week. You will report to the Engineering Director, Growth.
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
