Product Marketing Manager, Squarespace Domains

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager responsible for driving growth of Squarespace Domains, one of Squarespace's most important products. As Squarespace Domains Product Marketing Manager, you'll play a critical role in the launch and promotion of new features within our domain registration and management platform. You'll own the voice of the product, crafting messaging that resonates with our target audiences and increases adoption. Collaborating with different teams, you'll ensure our new features are used to their full potential.

You'll work hybrid in our New York City headquarters and report directly to the Associate Director of Product Marketing (Consumer Products).

You'll Get To...

• Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new Squarespace Domains features. This includes defining target audiences and positioning, creating messaging, and developing integrated launch plans across owned, earned, and paid channels.
• Collaborate with the Product team to understand new features and develop marketing materials. You'll translate technical specifications into easily digestible stories that highlight the value proposition for our customers.
• Oversee the creation and execution of GTM/launch campaigns, including website updates, blog posts, social media content, email marketing, and press releases. You'll measure the success of these campaigns (in partnership with the Marketing Analytics team) and optimizing them for maximum impact.
• Manage the ongoing promotion of new features through customer education initiatives. You'll ensure users are aware of and empowered to use the full potential of new features.
• Collaborate with the Market Research and Customer Insights team to conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product roadmap and marketing strategies. You'll stay ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities to differentiate Squarespace Domains from the competition.
• You'll craft messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences. You'll also track and interpret marketing data.
• Partner with other marketing teams and the creative team on different initiatives and campaigns. This includes collaborating on integrated product launches and brand awareness efforts.
• Work with our internationally-focused marketing partners to advocate for locally relevant product updates to give customers around the world the best possible experience.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in product marketing, within the technology or SaaS industry
• Experience launching and promoting new products or features
• Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing channels, including content marketing, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising
• Knowledge of the web hosting and domain registration landscape, including current trends and competitive analysis
• Passion to empower creators and entrepreneurs to build their online presence
• Experience working with website builders or content management systems
• Experience managing product documentation and collateral
• Passion for design and user experience

Cash Compensation Range: $105,500 - $170,200 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
