The Squarespace Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for FP&A supporting the R&D organization. A key business partner involved with the various aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and the analysis/interpretation of financial results. The role requires a strong ethical foundation and the ability to present unbiased and accurate information to all stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners (Engineering/Product) on items ranging from Headcount, Contracted Services, Software, and other investments. You will partner with the FP&A Director and investments team to further explore a range of business questions, ultimately helping the company to achieve its financial and operational goals, through data and sophisticated analysis.
We expect this Senior Analyst to be motivated to learn on the job and grow along with the company. You will dig into challenges - from routine operations, to forecasting and planning - to connect the dots and draw valuable insights for the business. You will develop relationships with the leaders on your partner teams, and thereby you should be comfortable presenting financial information to various executive stakeholders. This is the perfect opportunity to both learn and then impact the inner workings of a successful organization.
You will report to the FP&A Director and be based in our New York City office.
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
