Sr HR Business Partner

Verisign is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join our mission-driven organization and serve as a consultant to management and assist in supporting the overall business strategy including workforce planning, performance management, employee relations and talent management.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with strategic business objectives.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and best practices to ensure compliance and foster an engaging work environment.
• Partner with managers to address employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution and disciplinary actions with the ability to resolve employee relations concerns through effective, thorough and objective investigations.
• Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and implement proactive solutions.
• Stay informed about industry trends and changes in employment laws.
• Cultivate a positive company culture by promoting diversity, equity, inclusion and employee engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR-related projects and initiatives.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 8-12 years' experience, with a focus on HR business partnering
• Demonstrated expertise in HR policies, practices and employment law
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional customer service skills and judgment with a passion for working collaboratively
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Proven attention to detail; diligent and extremely organized
• Highly responsive
• Adaptable and flexible to navigate dynamic business processes and work independently
• Advanced computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Work, Excel and PowerPoint)
• This position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a flexible, hybrid work schedule

Preferred qualifications:

• HR certification (PHR, SPHR) is strongly preferred but not required

If you live in CO, CA, NY, Washington State the annualized pay range for this role is $117,000 to $158,400. The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. Verisign offers a discretionary bonus which is based on individual and company performance, and certain roles may be eligible for discretionary stock awards.
