Here's What You'll Be Working On:
- Create and prepare departmental budget and forecast models for review with senior leadership
- As the business dictates, create new ad-hoc financial models – interface with ad sales, commerce, education, data, and other teams in determining needs, priorities, and information needed to create a persuasive business model
- Streamline, optimize and refresh existing models and reporting to meet business needs
- Perform monthly variance analysis of key ad sales metrics (audience, pricing, and capacity) vs. budget, forecast, and the prior year inclusive of project-based P&L's to ensure margin goals are met
- Own commission structures and calculations ensuring the ad sales team is properly incentivized
- Support the annual budget and long-range planning process, including a critical review of planning assumptions
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities using data insights and an in-depth knowledge of the business
- Maintain, update and refresh weekly, monthly & quarterly financial reports
- Work with the Accounting team to ensure financial results are reflected in a timely and accurate manner
