Your opportunity

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager develops and directs marketing programs for the EBSCO Learning business and its product lines focused on skills development and learning targeted to businesses, governments, federal and state workforce development programs, and other institutions. They establish marketing strategies, which may include product direction, promotion, positioning, and packaging. They are responsible for developing and managing to expense budgets and profit plans. They provide input and direction to strategies and plans related to the EBSCO Learning business, future product development, market research, and other related activities. They interface with product managers, engineers, designers, suppliers and customers.

What you will do

  • Works closely with other leadership of EBSCO Learning on the development of marketing strategies and priorities.
  • Develops, manages, directs and implements marketing plans to grow the EBSCO Learning business.
  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
  • Conceives of, develops, executes and measures strategic marketing programs for a portfolio of skills development and learning products to build awareness, drive lead generation and sales, support product adoption and renewals and inform purchasing decisions.
  • Establishes marketing strategies, including product direction, advertising, packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans and future product development, to manage a product or product category's life cycle.
  • Ensures ongoing customer outreach and education through newsletters, webinars, and other means as determined.
  • Measures and analyzes results from programs and uses that knowledge to drive improved results.
  • Directs the creation of any/all applicable marketing materials and campaigns with assistance/coordination other EBSCO Learning team members as needed.


About you

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing; managing complex, deadline-driven marketing projects.
  • Experience with key marketing tools in the areas of email marketing, social media, SEO, lead enrichment tools, and graphic creation.
  • Experience in B2B product launches, retention marketing and brand awareness campaigns.
  • Experience with SEM, social media, 1:1 marketing via marketing automation and other modern and traditional marketing approaches.


What sets you apart

  • Bachelor’s Degree (advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience in the areas of skills development, education, EdTech, corporate learning a plus.
  • Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) marketing experience a plus.
  • A team player who works well across groups and departments – an excellent collaborator.


Our offer to you

Target Annual Compensation Range: $123,655 - $176,650. This Pay Target range includes a bonus target of5 % of base salary. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
