Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Nevro is seeking a Sr. Revenue Accountant who will be responsible for revenue recognition policies and procedures, lead the month-end and quarter-end processes related to revenue, test and implement revenue related SOX controls, and provide audit support. This position reports to the Revenue Manager.
Role Requirements:
This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Revenue Operations and will focus on supporting the team in the day-to-day operations of revenue accounting. This role handles significant revenue activity and data analysis, combined with additional GL responsibilities. The responsibilities of this role include:
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid operational background in the accounting function dealing with high levels of operational complexity and transaction volumes
  • Provide input to ensure accounting systems and processes are continually streamlined via process improvement to achieve greater efficiencies and accuracy
  • Review and assess the flow and transfer of data between different systems, such as QAD, Salesforce.com, and Tableau, including the.reconciliation of revenue-related data on a regular basis
  • Assist with making necessary updates and adjustments for accurate revenue reporting, including deferrals and rebate accruals
  • Work closely with business partners at period end to ensure revenue derived from customer contracts are recognized as per company and GAAP guidelines
  • Participate in the accurate and timely completion of the revenue month-end closing process, including but not limited to:
    • Review of ASC 606 accrual
    • Appropriate cutoff accounting
    • Review select invoices and credit memos for inconsistencies or other issues
    • Preparing data for Average Sales Price analysis
    • Review & Reconcile GL accounts related to revenue
    • Assist in the preparation of audit requests as needed
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be comfortable learning new things and owning processes
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem solving and follow through
  • Manage multiple priorities well and handle projects with attention to detail
Target Pay Range:
$107,717 to $148,111 - the final starting salary offer to the successful candidate will be determined by evaluating several factors, such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, alignment with market data, and geography. *Nevro is a multi-state employer, so the target pay range may increase or decrease depending on the city/state.
